Through our Mission Serve initiative, ServiceNation seeks to establish Veterans Day as a day of service and celebration.  By serving in honor of veterans and alongside military families, civilian communities can show their gratitude and respect for the men and women who serve in uniform.  By creating a large-scale series of events centered on Veterans Day, ServiceNation is able to bring focus onto civilian-military integration, as well as the importance of volunteerism and community service for our nation.

On 11/11/11, ServiceNation: Mission Serve plans to organize eleven civilian-military service projects across the country to provide opportunities for the civilian and military communities to join together in service. In Denver, Colorado, ServiceNation is pleased to partner with Warrior Gateway, Sierra Club, Veterans Green Jobs, Phoenix Multisport, Colorado Hire Patriots, and Denver Parks and Recreation for a community project.

ServiceNation is proud to join a host of partners for a community service project that will allow the civilian and military communities of the Greater Denver Area to come together through shared service. Volunteers will participate in debris removal and park restorations along one of the most visited trails in Denver—Cherry Creek Trail.
