Listen up! DoSomething.org, HP and the one and only Nick Cannon want YOU, yes, you to Increase your Green!
Nick Cannon appears in the PSA above promoting this contest, which is encouraging high schools to compete with one another to for the chance to win up to $5,000 in environmental funding plus “sweet HP computers”.
Nick says:
"The average US citizen releases 40,000 pounds of carbon dioxide each year. Thats the highest of any country in the world. C'mon, that's just embarrassing!"
If you, like Nick feel that current C02 emissions in the US can, and should be decreased, you CAN and SHOULD consider entering your school in the "Increase Your Green" contest. To enter and register your school, check out this link where you will also find information on some exciting green project ideas like:
After you register, you can begin to take action to green your school.

- How many people were involved in your projects
- How much waste you reduced, reused, or recycled
- How much energy you saved
- How you used technology to Increase Your Green
- How creative you got with your projects
Also, if your school is located in the Northeast, the National Grid Foundation is offering three additional prizes of $500 each, and $1500 to one grand prize winner.
