Final Sprint For Pepsi Refresh: Let’s Push For Service
Subscribe to the Blog RSS FeedOkay, there are just three days left in the current round of voting over at Pepsi Refresh, and some of our ServiceNation partners are in the running for some major cash grants. Let's help push them over the top with a final sprint by casting votes for each of them every day for the next three days (you have up to 10 votes). The following partners are in the top ten in their categories and could use our help.
1) Our friends at MyImpact are currently in 4th in the $25,000 category (the top ten get a grant so they are in the money and let's help keep them there). They want to fire up the people's passion for service using new media. Vote for MyImpact here.
2) ServeNext currently is in 4th place in the $50,000 category, so they are also currently in the money and would love any help to keep them there. ServeNext wants the funds to train grassroots organizers, and you can vote for ServeNext here.
3) The good people over at Atlas Corps are in 7th place in the $50,000 category (so in the money but on the cusp; let's keep them in the Top 10 and help them win). Atlas Corps would like to use the funds to send more young US leaders abroad, and bring more young leaders from around the world on exchanges to US cities. You can vote for Atlas Corps here.
4) One of our best partners, LIFT--which does incredible work helping families find paths out of poverty--is in 5th place in the $250,000 category. Only the top three will win the grant, so we need to rally for LIFT by voting, and asking our friends to vote for them. If LIFT could secure a big grant like this it could help serve thousands of additional families in need across America. Vote for LIFT here (and please spread the word to your friends).
5) Finally, our friends at Teach For America are currently in 2nd place in the $250,000 category, so they are in the money and we'd like to keep them there. TFA wants to use the grant to recruit an additional 4,500 teachers to serve in schools in low-income communities, and you can help by voting for TFA here.
